Today is apple day. Lots of apples to process and freeze and dry. Should be fun! A good way to start the day would be this:
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
- 2 cups oatmeal (not the quick cooking kind)
- 2 cups of water
- a splash of whey
In the morning bring to a boil:
- 2 cups apple juice/cider
- one apple peeled, cored, and chopped
- a healthy sprinkle of cinnamon
and cook for five minutes or to your liking. Serve with butter and cream. Yum!
