For the first time since we have had the twins home, I addressed and stamped Christmas cards. I really am thankfulfor the people who still send us cards, I am like a kid and still enjoy getting mail (except the grown-up kind.) I really prefer to have a handwritten note in the cards I send out. Not this year…a bullet point list including this website and a few other essentials. It felt awful impersonal, but still, it’s a step in the right direction, right?
Next year’s goal is to finish some of the handmade ones I have in the cupboard!
I use http://www.easy2sendcards.com to send out my holiday cards. It’s fast, easy and affordable. It lets you choose a card or make your own using your photos, add your message then click send. They print, stamp and mail the card for you, in the US mail and it’s all done right from your computer. You can also send gifts or gift cards…it’s really cool. Check it out.
I need to make myself do Christmas cards this year. I’m an aweful procrastinating perfectionist! I want the cards & letter to be perfect, and have never actually mailed them! In 5 years!
