Living in the Midwest has it’s ups and downs. Mostly ups. Cooking traditional foods has it’s ups and downs…depends on the day. Homeschooling, you guessed it, ups and downs. Gardening is so easy for about half the year, the other half is equally divided between loving it and grumbling at it.
My first few posts will be a little about the Trying Traditional way of life. There is no other life like it I sometimes think we are nuts, but most of the time relish the things we do. The rest of the blog I plan to just be real, our simple day to day. The little things that count, the big things that are inevitable, and all the things in between that are my life.
